We provide opportunities to help you grow, heal and connect with God.

Inner Healing Prayer Ministry

Called “Sowers of Shalom,” this ministry focuses on helping people experience greater wellbeing and wholeness through the healing presence and power of God’s Spirit. A prayer team of three leads an individual through a number of prayers over five or six consecutive weeks; each session is two hours each.

Learning Communities

These small groups meet either once a week or once a month for up to eight times, usually for three to four hours a session. The emphasis is not only on learning but spiritual formation in the context of genuine community. The past learning communities have focused on life and ministry in the kingdom of God.

Workshops

ArborSpring offers a variety of workshops, which are interactive. In addition to teaching, participants experience solitude, personal reflection, small and large group discussion, and often some form of prayer ministry. Topics include identity, renewing the mind, spiritual warfare, kingdom of God, healing and mission, and discipling others.

Guided Retreats

These half-day, full-day, and weekend retreats are centered around a theme, often related to the topics we cover in our workshops. ArborSpring seeks to tailor-make each retreat according to the needs and composition of the group.

Spiritual Direction

Spiritual direction is Christian conversation and listening in which the directee and director together seek to discern the Holy Spirit’s movement in the directee’s life. Through observation and questions, the director helps the directee note God’s presence and activity, cultivating greater awareness of God and self, and deeper intimacy with him.

Mentoring

One-on-one mentoring is done with a focus on leader-servant development. The mentor and mentee meet once a month for one to two hours to focus on an area for growth, which the mentee has chosen or the mentor has identified.

Apprenticeship Program

Our two-year apprenticeship program engages participants in hands-on ministry, personal spiritual formation, and theological reflection, all within the context of a kingdom community.

Leadership Consultation

ArborSpring is available to meet with pastors and other Christian leaders to offer guidance in the areas of spiritual formation, discipleship, small groups, inner healing, and staff and ministry development.

“A Spacious Place” (future)

Part of ArborSpring’s vision is to provide a retreat house where people find a spacious place to gain rest and refreshment. This house would also hold our various ministries. Ideally located in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains, it would offer lodging for 15-20 overnight guests, with space for gatherings of up to 100 people.
